Bierstick Review

When it comes to rapid beer consumption the beer bong reigns king. However, the Bierstick may one day take over as the single best college drinking accessory. Not only does the Bierstick out perform your typical beer bong, but it is guaranteed to make you the center of attention at any house party or tailgate outing.

Pros

Unlike a beer bong that relies on gravity to force the beer down your throat, the beer flows smoothly through the beirstick’s specialized nozzle and into your belly. I have watched many girls intimidated by beer bongs and fail to complete one because of the initial rush of beer which usually resulted in 95% of the beer being poured onto the ground. The bierstick avoids this problem with the user able to apply as little, or as much, force as they desire.

This brings me to the next advantage. Rather than rely on lazy gravity to pour the beer down your throat, the bierstick allows you to drink the beer at an even faster rate, yet still remain smooth!

Finally, it travels well. Whether a backpack or a suitcase, the beirstick can easily go with you to a house party or even on spring break.

Cons

I was extremely excited when I received my bierstick in the mail. I quickly opened the box, threw away the instructions, and was ready to start pounding beers. Unfortunately the bierstick was jammed, and no amount of force was going to fix that. After a quick email to the makers of bierstick, I realized if I had read the instructions I would have known to lubricate the two O rings with vegetable oil, and saved a world of frustration.

Solution: Lube the O rings.

With enough force the nozzle will shoot off and leave you with a face full of beer.

Solution: Hold onto the nozzle as you apply pressure.
